Based on a 1692 Bark rigged Flute Sailing Vessel called the "Bleeding Rose", A jewel of a Tavern called the "Rose & Crown" and a Merchants Bazaar and Rouges Gallery. The Members of "Thee Bleeding Rose" Consists of People Who take on pyratical roles of the infamous "Barbary Corsairs",the roles of a complete 17th Century Taverna and the role of Merchants in a Bazaar of Rogues. The Barbary Corsairs are a mixture of many different races, all with different values and strengths. The groups persona roots are comprised of these differences in nationality which adds to the flavor and variety of the theatrical presentations done by the organization.

The Organization consists of Three parts:
The First part makes up the crew of the Sailing Vessel.
The Second part are People in the "Rose & Crown" Tavern.
The Third part are Merchants and Barbary Rouges.

The groups members who create the mixture of the crew, tavern and merchant roles, makes for a broader base of reference to explore, in many diverse styles and topics. These are born into the re-enactments and street theater activities done by "Thee Bleeding Rose".

We have a totally democratic way of doing things, everyone has a vote that matters and you can play any role or even write your own scenes for the group or your persona just by having a majority vote from all attending members.

We have NO dues, NO requirements except you MUST BE Over 21 years of age to join for Insurance Reasons. We do on occasion Plunder(oops!) do fund raising for props and stage scenery as well as storage for theatrical equipment.. We are a Year-Round Pyrate group which also does the Renaissance and Pirate Festivals, In Season here in Florida.
